About the Evening
GATHERED AROUND THE TABLE, WE’LL SHARE A SEASONAL THREE-COURSE MEAL, WITH FOOD SERVING AS A MEDIUM FOR CONNECTION. THE EVENING WILL OFFER AN OPPORTUNITY TO REFLECT ON THE TRANSITIONS WE EXPERIENCE IN MIDLIFE AS WOMEN WITHOUT CHILDREN.
These may include changing careers or relocating, moving through perimenopause or menopause, becoming a caregiver for an aging loved one, creating chosen family, or considering what legacy and later life might look like.
We trust that sharing a meal can foster warmth, authentic expression, and genuine connection. There is no expectation to share.

This is a space that honors and acknowledges life without children in all its complexity. It’s a room where choice, loss, freedom, grief, relief, ambivalence and clarity may coexist, and for the connection that becomes possible for women in community as we hold them together.
ABOUT YOUR HOSTS

I’m a therapist, community builder, and founder of Our Sister•Ship, a travel-based community for women without children.
I started Our Sister•Ship in 2025 in the Seattle area grounded in the belief that women without children deserve more spaces in society that honor and celebrate this path of womanhood, while also creating more visibility for just a small part of a woman’s identity that’s long been marginalized, misunderstood or devalued.
Whether you’re new to the community, curious about joining a future trip or retreat, or simply interested in building community alongside other women without children, I’m delighted to share this evening with you.
